It’s a Wonderful Life *HD* – Part 2 of 14

On Christmas Eve 1946, George Bailey (James Stewart) is deeply depressed, even suicidal. Prayers for George are heard by the angels. Clarence Odbody (Henry Travers), an Angel Second Class, is sent to Earth to save him—and thereby earn his wings. Joseph, the head angel, reviews George’s life with Clarence. As a 12-year-old boy in 1919, George (Bobby Anderson) saved the life of his younger brother Harry (Todd Karns) after he fell through the ice on a pond, though George got an ear infection that impaired his hearing in one ear. Later, as an errand boy in a pharmacy, George stopped his boss, local druggist Mr. Gower (HB Warner), from mistakenly filling a child’s prescription with poison while grief-stricken over the death of his son from influenza. From childhood, George’s greatest ambition has been to see the world and design bridges and skyscrapers. However, he repeatedly has to sacrifice his dreams for the well-being of others. He puts off going to college to help in the family business until Harry graduates from high school and can replace him at the Bailey Building and Loan Association, vital to many of the disadvantaged in town. On Harry’s graduation night in 1928, George discusses his future with Mary Hatch (Donna Reed), who has had a crush on him since she was a little girl. Uncle Billy (Thomas Mitchell) and Harry then break the news to George that his father has had a stroke. Mr. Potter (Lionel Barrymore), a heartless slumlord, seizes the opportunity to try to

Afghanistan for Dummies: The Taliban did NOT attack us on 9-11.

The war on terror is a fraud perpetrated on the American people so they would willingly pay for a business venture in Afghanistan. I’m not saying 9-11 didn’t happen, and I’m not suggesting Al Qaida was not involved. I’m saying, however, that Kahlid Sheik Mohamed is going on trial for the very thing our media blamed on Osama Bin Laden as George W. Bush declared the Taliban were harboring terrorists. (He later declared they WERE terrorists…a slight play on words.) The problem with his logic was that the Taliban did NOT attack us on 9-11, and they were the legitimate government of Afghanistan when he wined and dined them in Houston on behalf of Unocal. Bush was trying to establish an agreement by which Unocal could build the Trans-Afghan Pipeline across their country. (The BBC was the only news organization which covered the event.) Unfortunately, a company called Bridas Corporation from Argentina had beaten them to the punch and procured a contract for a similar pipeline. To get them out of the way meant Unocal (and Bush) had to undermine that deal and the Taliban government as well. China was ready to build the export terminal in Balochistan, and the Asian markets were wide open. (Besides that, China is oil deficient, and they already owned the largest portion of our national debt along with the countless loans they’d made to our government.) The rest, as they say, is history.

Entrepreneurs Need Experience, Funds

Video from our FREE Online Business Course www.myownbusiness.org Session 1 – Evaluating Business Potential Question “What recommendations do you have for someone just starting out in business?” Stan Henslee Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Topics covered in this video: Business recommendations, experience, funds, cash, capital, support, family Transcript: Well there are a number of things I think that they should do. Number one, they should talk to other people that are already in the industry and ask them what they feel they need to know. Learn as much as you can from others who have already started their own business and been successful and find out what some of their secrets were. Number two, make sure that you’re going to be adequately capitalized so that you have the necessary funds to get your business started and to support you for a while, while the business is growing. Number three, make sure that you have your family’s support, both emotionally and sometimes even financially. And number four, take stock of your emotional ability to deal with some of the disappointments that are going to come along in the early stages, because there will be disappointments. There will be some rough times and you want to make sure you know yourself well enough so that you can cope with those disappointments and ride them out till it all gets better.

August 20th – Restoration of Independence Day in Estonia. February 24th is Estonian Independence Day

Today is Restoration of Independence Day in Estonia. ( Taasiseseisvumispäev ) This day commemorates the restoration of independence on Aug. 20, 1991. I am Estonian and I was just 11 years old when it happened. 1991 – was one of the hardest years in my life. There was no food for Estonian people – everything was missing from store shelves :( No sugar, no bread or flour, nor matches… Not to mention my mother was raising 5 children all by herself (her man passed away in 1990 in a tractor accident, while she was 6 months pregnant). I am the oldest. Estonian people were very scared that tanks were coming to Estonia and more lives had to be lost by the Soviet Union. But before we knew it – Estonian Flag was waving up in our Free Estonian SKY!!! I was really hoping for a miracles to help my family and our farming loans – better future! Human settlement in Estonia became possible 11000 to 13000 years ago, when the ice from the last glacial era melted away. Gold Rush – The Gold Conspiracy 2/3

Description: ============ This video records the GATA conference held in Dawson City, Yukon Canada on August 7-9 2005. The conference exposes the manipulation of the gold market by central banks. GATA is the Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee and can visited at www.gata.org. Background ========== The value of gold is kept low to keep the value of the dollar high. Traditionally the value of a currency is measured in gold. Current economic policy (Monetarism) advices to infuse new money into the economy to stimulate economic growth. For the last few years money growth in the US has been over 10 percent, much higher than the growth of the economy (GDP). This does stimulate the economy, but the dollar also looses it’s value (inflation). New money (credit) is not given to economic participants but lend to them. By now the American consumer is deep into debt (mortgage) and the US government too (bonds). Total debt in the US is over 40 trillion dollars. Total debt is 330 percent of GDP, in 1929 just before the Great Depression it was 270 percent of GDP. Foreign banks and foreign investors are stuck with trillions of dollars worth of bonds and other investements they cannot be sell, because otherwise the dollar would collapse. The US goverment needs to borrow over 2 billion dollars per day to make ends meet (deficit). Foreign investors are loosing appetite for the dollar, because it is obvious these loans to America can and will not be paid back (with real money). The US goverment

5 Minutes Briefing On Derivatives by LPAC

source : larouchepac The “Derivatives Bubble” Is Swallowing Up The Nation-State October 15, 2008 (LPAC)–The combined financial bail-out measures announced over the past 48 hours by the G-7 governments–on marching orders dictated by British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and his financial adviser Alan Greenspan–amount to placing “the full faith and credit” of each and every one of these governments behind the economic cancer known as the derivatives bubble. In other words, the British gameplan is for the derivatives bubble to gobble up the Nation-state, leaving only the Anglo-Dutch financial empire to rule the globe. That is what is now proceeding apace, with some $3 trillion in government moneys already thrown into the blazing inferno. The recent announcements involved more than throwing hundreds of billions of dollars directly into the banks as fresh capital. (”The new capital injections should help,” the London Economist noted happily today. “In theory $250 billion of new capital leveraged by ten-to-one could support $2.5 trillion of assets in the banking system.”) The other steps included: Unlimited 100% guarantees by the Fed, the ECB, and the Bank of England for the interbank lending market. Unlimiteddollar swaps supplied by the Fed to all the central banks of Europe and Japan, which has translated into each of them also issuing unlimited dollar loans to banking institutions. FDIC 100% insurance of payroll and similar corporate checking accounts. Fed direct purchases
