The RNC pays tribute to Jack Kemp, a standard-bearer within the Republican Party for economic conservatism and lower taxes, and a true Lincoln Republican who was a tireless advocate for civil rights.

where are leaders with this character now??? RIP Mr. Kemp
As a liberal i had so much respect for mr kemp. Even when i disagreed with some of his policy’s i would find my self defending him fiercely. He had a giant heart. He was a leader you wanted to fallow, regardless of party of ideology.
If only Bush 41 had chosen Kemp for VP, he would have been in a better position to lead the Conservatives. Of course, Kemp could have helped himself by running against Cuomo for NY Gov. or for the NY Senate.
I don’t know much about his son, Jeff. Maybe he needs to step up.
Absolutely. It is a shame African-Americans didn’t listen to his message.
well said…
Jeff Kemp needs to come to the forefront now. I miss Jack!
Jack Kemp was a true Hip-Hop Republican, he articualted free market concepts to the poor and urban alike on there terms. I love this quote by him
“The American society as a whole can never achieve the outer reaches of its potential so long as it tolerates the inner-cities of despair” ~ Rep. Jack Kemp
We Republicans must take this quote to heart.
What a great guy. I totally would’ve voted for Dole/Kemp in ‘96 if I were old enough.
THank God we have politicians like Jack Kemp..I was glad I had an opportunity to meet him a few times. What I loved was his never ending enthusiasm!
You libtards have no class. Grow up and get a clue!
RIP Mr.Kemp
Dole/Kemp 1996
We didn’t realise how lucky we were to have him. They don’t come around everyday.
Thanks to Mr. Kemp and his family – for their service and sacrifice for the United States.
Thanks Jack for your service. You are especially missed in today’s times.
May Kemp rest in peace…
God bless, Jack Kemp.
Ok there is a time for mocking and this is not that time. Your entitled to your opinion but have a little respect.
It is a fallacy he did not become President in 2004 after serving two terms as VIce President under President Dole.
Mr. Kemp was a true statesman….he will be greatly missed!
What a great man, God bless.
A truly great American. God Bless
God Bless Jack Kemp. God rest his soul.
He was a great American. May God bless his soul.
A great American, God rest his soul.
